Meg is an experienced accredited practising dietitian who specialises in infant, child and adolescent nutrition. Meg is passionate about helping the families of children with a wide range of health concerns including:

  • poor weight gain and growth
  • food allergies and intolerances
  • eating disorders
  • weight management
  • fussy eating 
  • enteral nutrition
  • gastroenterological conditions (constipation, Coeliac Disease, Crohn's Disease)

Meg commenced her training at the Sunshine Coast where she was also a competitive swimmer and surf lifesaver. She has since worked as a clinical paediatric dietitian at the leading tertiary paediatric hospitals in Queensland (Royal Children’s Hospital/Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital) and prides herself on providing specialised nutritional care to children and their families.

Ming Liew

Senior Paediatric Dietitian

Ming is a highly accomplished and experienced Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) with a speciality in infant, child and adolescent nutrition. Ming's clinical experience includes working at the Royal Brisbane Children Hospital since 2008 where she managed children with metabolic disorders, renal disease, endocrine issues, food allergies/ intolerances, general medical issues and those with delayed development / failure to thrive.

In 2015, Ming continued to be one of the valued dietitians to work within a multi-disciplinary team at the Queensland Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital where she gained further experience looking after both in / out-patients’ children with a variety of gastroenterology issues which include Crohn’s / Coeliac Disease / Irritable Bowel Syndromes, general food intolerance and also specialised in children Enteral / Parenteral nutrition.

With excellent knowledge in nutrition, dietetics and food science along with strong analytical and problem solving skills, Ming strives to provide holistic nutritional advice to support, educate and guide her patients and families to meet their health goals.
