Megan Docherty -Special Needs & learning Support

 G Dip Ed, B Pop Mus 

Megan is a Griffith University qualified primary education teacher with a passion for students who require special education and supported learning. In particular, those experiencing both physical and or learning disability.

Megan’s primary objective is to ensure each child achieves their maximum learning potential in a fun, positive environment where they are cared for and are encouraged to take learning 'risks' despite whichever barriers to learning they may be enduring.

Megan would love to assist your child preparing them for school, especially focusing on fine and gross motor development, oral language development and social skills.Collaboration with other Allied Health professionals will ensure that your child is well supported by a comprehensive paediatric team.




Clare Barrett - Dietitian

Clare can be described as a ‘people person’ who enjoys  consulting with  individuals and groups.

Clare has a background in clinicalpathology and believes strongly in amulti-disciplinary health care.

She likes  to get to know her clients and tailor and advise to suite individual health needs and life circumstances. Clare’s fields of interest include diabetes, paediatrics patients, weight loss, elderly nutrition and nutrition management during cancer   treatment.





Faith S Jere - Podiatrist

Faith is an experienced Podiatrist and Biomechanics Specialist.She has obtained eleven years’ industry experience working in private, public, clinical and domiciliary care.

Faith’s vast experience has enabled her with the skills and ability to confidently diagnosis,provide treatment and prevention strategies for both chronic and acute conditions.

Faith possesses a ‘patients first approach’ and strives to provide her patients with the upmost level of care, Faith has excellent communication skills, essential for building good rapport with her patients and working with in a multi-disciplinary team.





Daniell Bennett – Exercise Physiologist

Dan is an experienced exercise professional with a keen interest in paediatrics, boasting extensive previous experience treating children and even utilising his own experiences to reinforce his approach.H promotes the idea of quality of movement utilising body weight style exercise to ensure anatomical cohesion. Exercise should also be an opportunity and not a burden so he places as much emphasis on using physical activity as ‘fun’ as he does a means of rehabilitation. Dan has an uncanny ability to quickly build rapport with his patients, this becomes evident with the success of his interventions. His excellent communication skills allow him to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team and providing effect treatment for both acute and chronic conditions.



Charlotte Fisk - Physiotherapist

Charlotte is a registered  senior Physiotherapist, she graduated from Kings College London in England, in 2007 and immigrated to Australia in 2012.

Charlottes experience covers a broad range, from Traumatic Brain Injury Centre for young adults, Community Paediatrics, and Paediatric Musculoskeletal as well as Falls Clinic, Emergency Department and Acute Medical Unit, and Community Neurology and Respiratory.Paediatric clients can be seen at home across the Gold Coast, schools, or in the Robina clinic. The program's provided are individualized and adapted to each patient; Musculoskeletal, Physical Disability, Orthopedic, Neurological, Sports Injury, Respiratory and Cardiovascular.




Amanda Dansky - Speech Pathologist

Amanda is a registered Speech Pathologist who has 14 years experience, working extensively across both adult and paediatric populations in private practice.

Amanda currently acts as a Clinical Supervisor for the Masters Speech Pathology Program at Griffith University Gold Coast. Her experience with paediatrics is predominantly with preschool, school age children and adolescents in the areas of speech, language, voice fluency, literacy and swallowing.

Amanda has worked within the independent school system, catholic school system and state special school system.






Priscilla De Pavia - Remedial Massage Therapist

Priscilla is a qualified remedial massage therapist. She was trained under the guidance of experienced exercise physiologist and physiotherapist's. Therefore this has provided her with the appropriate skills and knowledge to  provide the upmost level of care to her clients.

Priscilla believes remedial massage plays a vital role in both pre-habilitation and rehabilitation. Priscilla specialises in myofascial release, trigger pointing and lymphatic drainage, she has experience working with the elderly, general public and paediatrics.






Mikala Dean - Occupational Therapist     

Mikala is an Occupational Therapist passionate about supporting individuals within their home and community. She has experience in working with aged care rehabilitation, pain management, and home and community assessments.

Mikala has also spent some time working with children enabling them to reach their full potential by identifying the underlying factors that frequently influence a child’s development,performance, and behavior.

Mikala has a passion for supporting children in developing their skills, increasing their self-confidence and independence, and   encouraging a positive attitude towards future learning and positive life skills.





Paula Stanz - Audiology

Paula is focused on building relationships, motivating supporting & working closely with families and paediatric patients. With all patients Paula aims to improve the quality of life for her patient's, and making them more aware of their hearing health, by helping them to take positive steps to improving their hearing and communication skills.
